Sector Siege on your Mac.

Neo Tap Studios, LLC does not collect personal information through its apps, including Sector Siege. Our apps do not contain advertising trackers or send gameplay analytics to us. You don’t need a separate Neo Tap Studios account to play.

Your saved progress, settings, and gameplay analysis data are stored locally on your Mac. Gameplay Analysis processes your game locally; it does not send your replays to a cloud AI service.

Apple’s services.

When you use Game Center (Mac App Store Edition), the game sends scores and achievement progress to Apple. That edition also stores a Game Center player identifier (Mac App Store Edition) locally to associate pending score and achievement updates with the correct player. The itch.io editions do not use this service.

Sign-in for Game Center (Mac App Store Edition) is handled by Apple. We do not receive your Apple Account password. Apple handles account information, purchases (Mac App Store Edition), and Game Center activity (Mac App Store Edition) under its own privacy practices and your settings.

This website.

We do not ask you to provide personal information to browse this website. We do not add our own advertising trackers, analytics scripts, or cookies. Our fonts, images, and trailers are served directly from this website. The itch.io purchase widget is an external service, as explained below.

To deliver and protect the site, our server and hosting provider, OVHcloud, process technical connection information, such as IP addresses, requested pages, browser information, and access times. Server logs may contain this information; we do not use it for advertising or visitor profiling.

Buying and downloading through itch.io.

Our website’s Buy Now buttons open itch.io’s purchase service. itch.io is the merchant of record for these purchases: it collects your payment and manages the transaction through its checkout and payment providers. Neo Tap Studios creates the games but does not act as the merchant of record for purchases made through this checkout. itch.io hosts the game downloads and manages purchase records, receipts, download links, and access to your purchases. You don’t need a Neo Tap Studios account, and we do not run a separate customer account or download-recovery database on this website.

Payment details are handled by itch.io and its payment processors under their own privacy policies. Neo Tap Studios does not collect or store your full card number, security code, or payment-account password, and does not act as the custodian of itch.io’s checkout, customer-account, or download records. Limited purchase information, such as an email address, the game purchased, and transaction details, may be available to us through itch.io’s seller tools. Information you choose to send us for game support is handled as described below.

Opening the purchase widget connects your browser to itch.io. Its services and payment providers may process technical information and use cookies or similar technologies under their own policies. Please see itch.io’s Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy for details.

For transactions, refunds, payment methods, receipts, billing, purchase records, or trouble accessing a purchased download, please visit itch.io customer support or email support@itch.io. You can also use their Recover purchases form to have download links sent again. Requests about information held by itch.io should go to itch.io; requests about information held by a payment provider should go to that provider.

When you contact us.

If you use our contact form, we receive the email address and message you provide. We use this information to respond, provide support, and investigate reported problems. Please do not include passwords, payment details, or other sensitive information. Contacting us is optional.

Our website host, OVHcloud, and email providers, Resend and Apple iCloud Mail, process messages to deliver and store support correspondence. We do not use your messages for marketing. We keep support correspondence only as long as needed to handle your request and meet applicable obligations. You can contact us to request access to or deletion of information you have provided. We do not sell your personal information.

Children’s privacy

Our games are suitable for all ages, and our website is intended for a general audience. If you’re under 13 and need to contact us, please ask a parent or guardian to send the message for you.

If you believe your child has sent us personal information, please contact us so we can help arrange its deletion.
